WELCOME!

Ever been wandering around the web, going to different sites here and there, and realizing that so many of them are all  about families?  All about how to juggle
busy schedules, kids, meals, et cetera.  Then thought “well, that’s great and all, but what about me?”  “I’m single.  I don’t have kids, but I do it all on my own and IMG_1488dammit, I’M BUSY!”  Where is that page?!  It is exhausting, and there are SO many of us who get it!  So I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands!  Create a page where single women can support and inspire one another!  My goal is to create a space where we can brag or vent about our day.  Talk about what inspires us or helps us get through.  And have people around who will listen!

“She Cooks in Stilettos” wasn’t intended to be a blog about cooking.  It’s about “cooking” in every sense of the word!  In the kitchen, in the office, and in LIFE!  All while wearing stilettos (even if only metaphorically) because we are strong and sassy!  🙂

I will share the tips and tricks I have come up with as a single woman, a homeowner, and a business woman.  I love to cook, so I’ll be sharing my tips for making recipes for one, saving or freezing dishes.  Plus, I love to plan parties, so I’ll throw those ideas out along the way.  Of course, you don’t HAVE to be a single woman to follow this site; I’m hoping that everyone will find my tips and tricks helpful!

I HIGHLY encourage using a pen name when commenting on this site!  You don’t have to, of course, just remember this is a public website.  Security is important to me!  I also ask that we keep all comments supportive, helpful and positive.  Anything that is not will be removed.

I hope you like it here!  CHEERS to a GREAT day!

  1. I know I am married and I promise not to blog about married life. I will only include health recipes and tips. I have multiple sclerosis and Lila helped me A LOT with her magic massages.
